Job summary

MCL Construction in Omaha, NE seeks a Superintendent to lead on-site operations for complex commercial projects from $5M–$30M, focusing on safety, quality, and field performance. You will own the project schedule and six-week look-ahead planning, and lead trade partners.

Work with the Project Manager to keep field operations aligned, mentor field team members, and serve as the on-site liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and trades. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial construction, including 3+ years as a Superintendent with a general contractor.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Proficient with project scheduling and field operations.
• Experience reading drawings and managing RFIs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site operations for complex commercial projects ranging from $5M–$30M+, with safety and quality at the forefront.
• Own the project schedule and six-week look-ahead planning, addressing issues to keep work on track.
• Lead trade partners and ensure safety, quality, schedule, and performance.
• Manage site logistics, manpower planning, and day-to-day field execution.
• Partner with the Project Manager to align field and project operations.
• Serve as the on-site leader for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Lead and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
