Job summary

MCL Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site operations for multi-million dollar commercial projects. You will own the project schedule, coordinate trade partners, and drive safety, quality, and performance on site.

Ideal candidates have extensive commercial construction experience, read drawings well, and guide field teams while traveling as needed to project sites. Join a team-focused culture building critical facilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial construction, including 3+ years as a Superintendent with a GC.
• Proven leadership of on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong safety focus and risk management.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and manage RFIs/submittals.
• Willingness to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Own on-site operations for complex commercial projects ($5M–$30M+).
• Own project schedule and six-week look-ahead planning.
• Lead trade partners and ensure safety, quality, and schedule.
• Manage site logistics, manpower planning, and field execution.
• Partner with the Project Manager to align field and project ops.
• Serve as on-site leader for owners, architects, engineers, and trades.
• Lead and develop Assistant Superintendents and Field Engineers.
