Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Superintendent for a top-tier general contractor in Omaha, NE. Lead field operations across multiple commercial projects, ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery, and mentor crews while coordinating with project managers and clients.

Ideal candidates have 8–15+ years in commercial construction, 5+ years in leadership, and experience with Procore or MS Project. OSHA 30 preferred; a Bachelor’s in Construction Management is desirable.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of commercial construction experience.
• 5+ years in a leadership role (Superintendent, Senior Superintendent, or similar).
• Experience managing multiple projects and field teams simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience with project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all field operations across multiple commercial construction projects.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field staff.
• Oversee project scheduling, manpower planning, and labor coordination.
• Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and production standards.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, executives, and clients.
• Lead preconstruction planning, site logistics, and execution strategies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce accountability standards.
• Drive job site efficiency, problem-solving, and proactive decision-making.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
