Job summary

MCL Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout and own the financials, schedules, and client relationships. You will partner with the Superintendent to align field and project operations and lead OAC meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

Demonstrated experience with healthcare, data centers, or other technically complex commercial projects is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction experience, including 3+ years as a Project Manager with a general contractor.
• Proven experience independently leading $10M–$50M+ commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Demonstrated ownership of project financials, schedules, teams, and client relationships.
• Experience leading healthcare, mission critical/data center, federal, or other technically complex commercial projects is highly valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex commercial projects from preconstruction and buyout through closeout.
• Own the financial performance of your projects, including budgets, forecasting, buyout, contracts, change management, and cost control.
• Build and manage project schedules while proactively identifying risks, delays, and issues that could impact project performance.
• Partner with the Superintendent to lead the project team and keep field and project operations aligned.
• Lead OAC meetings and serve as a trusted partner to owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Drive value management, QA/QC, risk management, and project closeout throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while building teams that deliver strong results.
