Job summary

MCL Construction is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for commercial projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality. You will coordinate owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain momentum and accountability on every job.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of progressive construction experience, OSHA 30, and proficiency with Procore or P6. Willingness to travel for extended assignments is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive construction experience.
• 3+ years running jobs as a superintendent.
• Experience delivering commercial projects in the $5M–$30M+ range.
• OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR a plus.
• Know your way around scheduling systems (Procore, P6) and look-ahead planning.

Responsibilities

• Run the project and lead all on-site operations for commercial projects.
• Own the master schedule and six-week look-ahead, manage manpower.
• Direct resource allocation, equipment use and field cost control.
• Manage field documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, QC records, closeout.
• Lead owners, architects, engineers, and subs on-site as primary contact.
• Lead preconstruction meetings and weekly coordination focusing on safety, schedule, quality.
