Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to manage pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects. This role can be based in Williamsport, MD, Frederick, MD, or Martinsburg, WV, coordinating safety, scheduling, and contractor work.

You will review bids, support bid packages, and lead constructability reviews, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring adherence to OH&S standards and project milestones within a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Construction Management or related technical field (or 12 years in lieu of a degree).
• Ability to provide constructability feedback and oversee safety performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects.
• Review contractor bids and develop bid packages with the project team.
• Conduct pre-bid meetings, document actions, and perform constructability reviews.
• Ensure safety and quality standards; inspect contractor work against standards.
• Mentor junior CSCs and manage schedule, cost, and resource aspects.
• Maintain project documentation, risk management plans, and communications.
