Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects. This role can be based in Akron, Toledo, or Ashtabula service territories, reporting to the Construction Site Supervisors.

You will coordinate schedules, materials, and site safety while ensuring quality standards and timely delivery. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is required.
• In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise smaller to medium size projects or support larger projects under supervision.
• Develop contractor bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect work performed by contractors against design and construction standards.
