Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to coordinate pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects in the York, PA area. The role requires coordinating smaller to mid-size projects, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have a Construction Management degree (or 3 years of relevant experience), strong MS Office skills, and proven teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
• Experience in electrical substation and/or line construction preferred.
• Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• MS Office tools (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for Transmission and Distribution substation and line projects.
• Cover York, PA service territories and support larger projects as needed.
• Understand project scope, constraints, and scheduling using CPM concepts.
• Develop contractor bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to standards on project sites.
