Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to oversee pre-construction through post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects around Reading, PA, coordinating schedules, resources, and safety compliance with contractors and internal teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience, strong teamwork, and proficiency with MS Office are required, with readiness to travel to project sites and focus on quality, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years experience in commercial or industrial construction required.
• Experience in electrical substation and/or line construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise smaller to medium size projects or support larger projects.
• Understand schedules including CPM calculations, float, and predecessors.
• Proactively manage scheduled tasks for all construction activities and report progress.
• Assist in contractor bid packages, pre‑bid meetings, and follow up on action items.
• Coordinate material requests, delivery dates, and verification at project sites.
• Inspect contractor work against design and construction standards.
