Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Construction Site Coordinator to supervise pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities for transmission and distribution projects near Reading, PA. The role requires coordinating schedules, managing contractors, and ensuring safety and quality on-site.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Construction Management or have 3+ years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Construction Management or related technical field; in lieu of degree, 3 years of commercial/industrial construction experience.
• Experience with electrical substation and/or line construction preferred.
• Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in issue resolution.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise small to medium projects or support larger projects under supervision.
• Understand project scope, constraints, and problem areas.
• Manage schedules, CPM calculations, float, and predecessors.
• Develop contractor bid packages and participate in pre-bid meetings.
• Document and follow up on action items from meetings.
• Inspect work against design and construction standards; ensure safety and quality.
