Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a senior scheduler to support regional field teams using MS Project and Primavera, aligning with Ryan's scheduling standards. The role involves contributing to project proposals, maintaining up-to-date schedules, and developing health reports to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction, 5+ years in planning/scheduling, and strong collaboration across project teams, with readiness to travel up to 50% and engage in cross-region

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in the construction industry with at least 5 years in planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrated understanding of field operations and building construction techniques.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist and grow regional field teams with scheduling practices and tools (MS Project, Fundamentals, Ryan Process).
• Create and/or review schedules during project proposals.
• Ensure project teams update schedules accurately and frequently.
• Develop and monitor monthly project schedule health reports with Construction Operations.
• Facilitate pull planning sessions in regional offices or jobsite locations.
• Lead preconstruction planning with project teams, subs, designers and stakeholders for sequencing and milestones.
• Capture and analyze schedule data for continuous improvement with Data Analytics.
• Share relevant scheduling information in internal communications and training sessions.
