Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Scheduler with a strong background in construction planning to support regional field teams and project proposals.

You will develop, maintain and review schedules, lead pull planning, and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction, 5+ years in scheduling, and mastery of MS Project; Primavera P6 and 4D scheduling are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in the construction industry with at least 5 years in planning/scheduling.
• Strong understanding of field operations and building techniques.
• Thorough understanding of planning and scheduling principles and techniques.
• Fluency with MS Project; knowledge of Primavera (P6) or 4D scheduling is a plus.
• Familiar with DCMA 14-point schedule health assessment and Lean/Last Planner System.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and train teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work across regions.

Responsibilities

• Assist and grow regional field teams with scheduling using standard practices.
• Create/review schedules during project proposals.
• Ensure schedules are updated regularly by project teams.
• Develop and monitor monthly project schedule health reports.
• Facilitate Pull Planning sessions in regional offices or job sites.
• Lead preconstruction planning with teams, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders.
• Conduct peer reviews on complex projects as directed by leadership.
• Analyze completed schedule data with Data Analytics for continuous improvement.
• Provide information for internal communications and training sessions.
• Stay current with scheduling developments in the construction industry.
