Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Scheduler in San Antonio, TX. You will develop and maintain software schedules for assigned construction projects using CPM, monitor baselines, and report trends to the project team.

You will partner with preconstruction managers and engineers to ensure accurate scheduling, resource availability, and clear communication of progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing scheduling for commercial construction projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects using CPM techniques.
• Organize and prioritize bid proposals to meet deadlines.
• Review schedule data including baselines, dates, costs, and WBS.
• Evaluate feasibility of work packages and suggest efficient methods.
• Interface with customers to report status and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction team to communicate schedules clearly.
• Analyze requirements and ensure resources are available to schedules.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for status updates and milestones.
• Ensure project plans are current and achievable daily.
