Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Austin, TX, seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to support regional field teams, develop and monitor project schedules, and lead preconstruction planning sessions with designers, subcontractors and stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least 10 years in construction with 5 in planning and scheduling; proficiency in MS Project is essential, with Primavera P6 or 4D scheduling a plus; travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in the construction industry with at least 5 years in planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of field operations and construction techniques.
• Fluency with MS Project; knowledge of Primavera P6 or 4D scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and grow regional field teams with scheduling using MS Project per Ryan standards.
• Review and create project schedules during proposals.
• Ensure schedules are updated accurately and frequently.
• Develop and monitor monthly schedule health reports.
• Facilitate Pull Planning sessions in offices or on sites.
• Lead preconstruction planning with teams and stakeholders for sequencing and durations.
• Capture and analyze schedule data to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide information for internal communications and training.
• Stay current with scheduling developments and communicate them to teams.
