Job summary

YA seeks a Senior Scheduling Consultant to independently develop, update, and analyze construction schedules across multiple projects in New York City. You will assess field progress, review project documents, and communicate findings to stakeholders while supporting resolution of delays.

This onsite role requires PSP certification, CPM experience, and proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or equivalent field.
• 5–7 years of construction scheduling experience.
• PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification.
• Experience using CPM techniques to analyze construction schedules.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject.
• Exposure to builder’s risk insurance, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
• Ability to travel approx. 25–35% to project sites and client offices.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team; strong communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain construction schedules with regular updates and reporting.
• Perform site inspections to assess progress and schedule status.
• Conduct forensic review of schedules and contemporaneous project documentation.
• Perform delay analysis to determine cause, extent and impact of delays and assist resolution.
• Assess change impacts, extended general conditions, expediting expenses, and related implications; communicate conclusions.
• Prepare clear technical reports and deliverables for clients and internal teams.
• Maintain organized job files, documentation, and project records.
• Coordinate regularly with internal staff, contractors, and clients.
