Job summary

YA seeks a Senior Scheduling Consultant to independently develop, update, and analyze construction schedules across multiple projects in New York City. You will assess field progress, review project documents, and communicate findings to stakeholders while supporting resolution of delays.

This onsite role requires PSP certification, CPM experience, and proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in construction management, engineering or equivalent field.
• 5–7 years of construction scheduling experience.
• PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification.
• Experience using CPM techniques to analyze construction schedules.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject.
• Exposure to builder’s risk insurance, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
• Ability to travel approx. 25–35% to project sites and client offices.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team; strong communication with stakeholders.

Role & Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent field.
• 5-7 years in a construction scheduling experience.
• Holds a PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification.
• Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera 6, and ASTA Powerproject.
• Previous experience or exposure to builder’s risk insurance policies, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
• Ability to travel as needed to project sites and client offices (approx. 25-35%).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common purpose.
• Strong communications skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and clients.
