Job summary

YA Group seeks a Scheduling Consultant to independently coordinate and manage construction schedules. You will inspect project sites, analyze schedules and costs, and relay findings while updating timelines. You’ll weigh alternatives, considering financial and operational impact for diverse projects.

The role emphasizes CPM techniques, strong communication, and use of MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject. Builders’ risk and claims experience are a plus; data center projects preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of construction scheduling experience.
• PSP certification preferred.
• Experience using CPM techniques to analyze project schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6 and ASTA Powerproject.
• Experience with data centers / semiconductors preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Strong communication with diverse stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of planning and scheduling, develop and update schedules.
• Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules and costs.
• Perform site inspections to evaluate progress.
• Review and organize large volumes of project documents and data.
• Perform schedule delay analysis to identify causes and effects.
• Evaluate productivity, extended general conditions, and expediting costs.
• Assess impact of changes and delays; communicate findings.
• Monitor timelines, expenses, and other factors for client projects.
• Prepare technical project reports and maintain files.
• Interface with other department staff, contractors, and clients regularly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
