Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Senior Scheduling Consultant to independently develop, update, and analyze construction schedules across multiple projects. You will assess field progress, review project documentation, and communicate findings to stakeholders, supporting delay-resolution efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of construction scheduling experience.
• PSP certification.
• Experience supporting NAVFAC, USACE, and CBP projects.
• Strong working knowledge of CPM scheduling and schedule analysis methods.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools including Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and Asta PowerProject.
• Exposure to construction claims management and contractor management.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain construction schedules, including regular updates and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform site inspections to evaluate progress and confirm schedule status.
• Conduct forensic review of schedules and contemporaneous project documentation (including costs, productivity data, and relevant records).
• Perform delay analysis to determine the cause, extent, and impact of delays; support resolution of delay claims.
• Assess change impacts, extended general conditions, expediting expenses, and related schedule/cost implications; communicate conclusions clearly.
• Prepare clear technical reports and deliverables for clients and internal teams.
• Maintain organized job files, documentation, and project records.
• Coordinate regularly with internal staff, contractors, and clients.
