Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s Dallas Main division seeks an experienced scheduling professional to lead construction program planning and monitor progress against baselines. You will work with project stakeholders to develop CPM-driven schedules, analyze risks, and ensure schedule alignment with project objectives across teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of CPM, Primavera P6, and collaboration with VDC engineers, with a focus on on-site coordination for large-scale Dallas projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required with minimum of 6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Scheduling Certification (AACE/PSP/PMI-SP) a plus
• Proficient use of scheduling software - Oracle Primavera P6
• Experience using scheduling comparison tools - Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector
• Large construction project experience (> $100m)
• Experience in construction positions (Engineer, Superintendent, or related)
• Knowledgeable of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and Trade practices
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work to develop project schedule
• Experience conducting gap analysis and managing scheduling risks
• Knowledge of estimates to develop project schedules
• Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Process and analytical skills to make decisions
• Interpersonal skills to engage project team and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Capture entire construction project scope for developing schedules with complex activities
• Adhere to Scheduling Playbook and company policies, practices, procedures
• Maintain relationships with project stakeholders to communicate overall project plan
• Collaborate with project team to confirm CIL, ROJ dates, and review Procurement Schedule
• Develop schedule baselines using CPM logic
• Collaborate with Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction to prepare detailed schedules
• Coordinate with VDC Engineer to align schedules and models
• Define project schedule metrics and monitor critical path activities
• Lead constructability reviews and GMP submissions for scheduling details
• Update project schedule dashboard and generate target comparisons
• Update schedules based on cadence and create look-ahead schedules
• Challenge project team on progress vs. plan
• Review Pull Plan and Last Planner System integration
• Identify events and change orders impacts for time impact analysis
• Provide end-user training on scheduling software and communicate enhancements
• Prepare summary and detail level schedules aligned with objectives
• Participate in kickoff meetings to ensure scheduling accuracy
• Engage with project team to review and status schedules
• Develop and update cost/resource-loaded schedules
• Review monthly progress and participate in ORM scheduling reviews
• Conduct site progress walks to capture data
• Collaborate with BD/Marketing on pursuit schedules
• Conduct schedule reviews to verify progress
• Perform time impact analysis, claims, and fragnet as needed
• Apply continuous improvement to scheduling operations
• Other duties as assigned
