Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee construction project safety, health, and risk management for complex facilities.

The role focuses on developing site-specific safety plans and collaborating with project teams to implementOperational Risk Management processes. Ideal candidates will have extensive OSHA/regulatory knowledge, hands-on S&H training experience, and a track record in electrical/construction settings.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a high school diploma
• 6+ years with an Associate's Degree
• 2+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience conducting S&H training and regulatory knowledge (1910, 1926, EM-385 1-1)
• Understanding of culture building skills; OSHA 500/502 etc (pursuit)
• Willingness to pursue ASP, CSP, CHST
• Experience in electrical/construction/federal and commercial S&H

Responsibilities

• Oversee Construction Project Safety, Health, and Risk Management
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans
• Collaborate with Project Management on the ORM process
• Coordinate with GC and/or owner on site conditions and NCN
• Lead ORM team in reviewing and developing safety plans
• Conduct / assist with incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, insurance audits, and health surveys
• Assist with safety training programs and budgets
• Advise project teams on mitigation plans and safety reporting
