Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to oversee Safety & Health programs, risk management, and ORM processes on construction projects. You will develop site-specific safety plans, lead training initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes training design, OSHA certifications, and mentorship of safety professionals, with a focus on electrical/industrial environments and federal and commercial S&H experience.

Qualifications

• 13+ years of safety management experience.
• 7+ years with a Bachelor's degree in safety management (electrical experience preferred).
• 5+ years with a Master's degree in Safety/related field.
• Safety Management Systems knowledge (ANSI-Z10, OHSAS 18001, ISO 31000).
• Trainer designation OSHA 500/502 Safety & Health; ASP/CSP/CHST pursued.
• Experience with S&H training, regulatory compliance (1910, 1926, EM-385).

Responsibilities

• Oversight of Construction Project Safety and Health (S&H) and Risk Management.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and ORM processes.
• Create and implement safety training plans and curricula.
• Conduct OSHA 10/30 and CPR/FA training for new hires.
• Redesign training materials and improve employee experience.
• Coordinate with customers and project teams on risk mitigation.
