Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Safety Professional to oversee Construction Project Safety, Health (S&H), and Risk Management across multiple projects.

You will develop site-specific safety plans, lead the ORM process, and collaborate with project teams to implement mitigation strategies. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance and hands-on safety leadership. The position requires extensive S&H experience, OSHA/DOT knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• 8+ years with a high school diploma.
• 6+ years with an Associates Degree.
• 2+ years with a Bachelors Degree; degree preferred.
• Experience with S&H training and safety management systems (OSHA, 1910/1926, EM-385).
• Certification pursuit: ASP/CSP/CHST encouraged; OSHA 500/502 beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction safety, health, and risk management across projects.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and APPs.
• Lead ORM reviews and coordinate mitigation with GC/owners.
• Prepare and conduct S&H training and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and safety standards; manage budgets.
• Collaborate with project teams, customers, and subcontractors on safety.
