Job summary

Clayco in Chicago is seeking a Senior Site Safety Supervisor to lead site safety programs across projects. You will develop safety plans, conduct weekly orientations and toolbox talks, and drive a zero-injury culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.

Your role includes coordinating with project teams, supervising safety staff, and tracking incidents and corrective actions across projects; frequent travel nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field must have.
• 4–7 years of safety experience in building construction.
• OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation.
• OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer a plus.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of the project safety program and conduct weekly safety meetings.
• Administer and record employee orientations and safety identifications.
• Inspect sites daily and document safety violations and corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and generate proper reports.
• Stop unsafe acts and ensure compliance with OSHA and Clayco standards.
