Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Safety Manager to implement and oversee project- and campus-level safety, health, and environmental programs. You will develop standards, training, and compliance measures, guiding field teams and leadership to maintain a safe working environment.

This role requires a bachelor’s in safety, at least five years in construction safety, and prior supervisory experience. You’ll lead incident investigations, crisis planning, and safety recognition programs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred, including oversight of safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on construction safety standards and monitor safety programs.
• Provide leadership on safety policies; advise project leadership.
• Direct project and campus safety to ensure compliance with programs and policies.
• Collaborate with project management to guide Field Safety Coordinators and staff.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs, including new employee orientation.
• Investigate safety incidents and communicate outcomes per procedures.
• Represent the company in safety-related hearings (e.g., OSHA).
• Oversee procurement of safety supplies and program expenses.
