Job summary

U.S. Engineering is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Missouri to uphold our safety culture across multiple job sites.

You will certify safety health and environmental programs are implemented under the Regional Safety Director, and you’ll lead orientation programs and proactive inspections. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Safety Management, up to five years in mechanical construction, strong communication and the ability to manage PPE and safety supplies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management or related field.
• Up to 5 years of experience in mechanical construction preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to lead safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site-specific safety orientation programs per corporate safety policies.
• Conduct trainings such as fall protection, forklift, lockout, and confined space.
• Perform proactive inspections, air sampling, incident investigations, and reporting.
• Document accidents and unsafe conditions, compile reports per regulations.
• Ensure PPE and safety supplies are available and up to date.
• Escort safety, health and insurance inspections when required.
