Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting to you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will set coverage, review performance, lead internal, owner, agency, and third-party audits, and develop staff. You report quality metrics to program leadership and drive corrective actions, guiding revisions to

Qualifications

10+ years in construction quality.
5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality frameworks.
Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
