Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Senior Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

When audits occur, you are the person in the room. Your role involves directing QC across projects, leading audits, approving QC plans and ITPs, and reporting metrics to program leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality management and field oversight.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C certification plus senior inspector credentials.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans and ITPs; report metrics monthly.
• Coach and develop QC staff; ensure qualifications of testing subcontractors.
• Serve as the program's memory; manage document control and ensure consistency across shifts and projects.
