Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing Quality Managers and inspectors. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the development of every QC person on the program.

When an agency or owner audits the project, you are the person in the room. Your week centers on audits, corrective actions, quality metrics to leadership, and coaching a growing QC team, with travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third‑party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
