Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program—overseeing multiple projects and a team of Quality Managers and inspectors. You will own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will develop every QC person on the program and be the room-stand point when audits occur.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule; Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff; Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program; Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
