Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, guiding every QC person on the program.

When an agency audits, you are the room. Your weekly focus is audits, corrective actions, and presenting quality metrics to program leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program and report quality metrics monthly.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
