Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct the quality program across a major multi-year project or several concurrent projects. You will own the site quality management system, audit program, and interactions with the owner's quality organization, guiding all QC personnel and audit processes.

You will drive corrective actions, approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and report metrics to program leadership monthly.

Qualifications

10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
