Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting to you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, and you develop every QC person on the program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; review performance and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
• Serve as the program’s memory; handle nonconformances, revisions, and updates to specifications.
