Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Quality Manager III to lead the program-wide quality management system across multi-year projects. You will direct Quality Managers and inspectors, own the audit program, and manage the corrective-action process to ensure compliance with contract and owner standards.

You will report metrics, approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and coordinate audits with owners, agencies, and third parties.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC Special Inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; Approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
