Job summary

Construction Quality Manager III at Construction Material Testing directs quality across a major program with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and development of every QC person on the program.

Your role includes leading audits, managing corrective actions, and reporting metrics to program leadership while coordinating with owner's quality organization and inspectors on multi-year or multi-project scopes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report quality metrics monthly.
