Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You lead Quality Managers and inspectors and make the call when nonconformance stops work. Your week centers on audits, corrective actions, reviewing quality metrics, qualifying testing subcontractors, and coaching the QC staff.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification (ICC special inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE)
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly
