Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with QC managers and inspectors reporting to you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

Qualifications

10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC senior inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff.
Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
