Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large, multi‑phase projects with USACE/NAVFAC quality requirements. You will write and gain acceptance for the QC plan and supervise field inspectors and testing technicians.

Your role includes leading phase meetings, coordinating lab testing and material certifications, and owning test result reviews and NCR responses with owners. A valid driver’s license is required for site access.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner programs.
• Clear written communication under high-level supervision environments.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and obtain acceptance by owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action processes and present at owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications.
