Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large, multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC quality requirements. You will lead field inspectors and technicians and own the project quality control plan.

You will supervise inspectors, coordinate lab testing, review NCRs, and present data to owners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate and ICC/NICET Level III certifications.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and secure acceptance from the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians.
• Assign daily coverage and review reports.
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action processes and present results at owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
