Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large, multi‑phase projects—heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE/NAVFAC quality rules. You will direct field inspectors and technicians, write the project QC plan, and own test results and nonconformances.

Your week centers on leading phase meetings, supervising staff, coordinating lab testing and certifications, and presenting NCR data to owners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection
• 2+ years supervising inspectors
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians
• Assign daily coverage and review reports
• Run nonconformance and corrective-action process
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications
