Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to lead the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects, including heavy civil, industrial, or federal work under USACE or NAVFAC requirements.

You will write and maintain the project quality control plan, conduct three-phase meetings, supervise QC inspectors, and be accountable for test results and NCRs across sites with travel to active jobsites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, DOT or industrial owner programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for each feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign coverage and review reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
