Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Sr. Construction Representative to oversee surveillance of large-scale construction projects in Lexington, KY.

The role involves evaluating workmanship, materials, installation practices, and conformance to contract requirements, with daily QA/QC reporting and coordination with government personnel. The position emphasizes strong communication skills, detailed reporting, and the ability to support change orders and field inspections across multiple project phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction project engineering, management, or inspection.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, contract administration, and safety requirements.
• Familiarity with building systems (fire protection, HVAC, electrical, utilities).
• Ability to review drawings, specs, submittals, schedules, and daily reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans and specs.
• Review plans/specifications and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare change orders/modifications for COR/ACO/KO as needed.
• Submit daily QA reports and maintain audit trails for RFIs and deficiencies.
• Travel to job sites as required.
