Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Houston, TX is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on complex projects with a focus on timely, profitable completion. You will oversee material, equipment, people management, and documentation to support the strategy and values of JE Dunn.

You will lead safety culture, coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets and scheduling, conduct meetings, and ensure QA/QC. Requires 5+ years in construction, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and builds awareness for an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and coordinates overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, and programs like Safety, Quality and EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manages project site care, custody and control.
• Leads meetings and manages project scheduling and cost tracking.
• Ensures quality compliance and supports project closeouts.
