Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on assigned projects with a focus on safety, quality and profitability. You will lead subcontractors, coordinate resources, and ensure documentation and schedules meet project goals while supporting JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication and experience managing complex projects. On-site work in Houston, with potential travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Lean principles experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and promotes injury-free work environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care and control.
• Leads meetings and participates in progress/review meetings.
• Manages project schedule with Project Manager.
