Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Representative for a federally funded rehabilitation project in Tennessee. The role requires extensive on-site inspection, QA monitoring, and contract compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards. Expect rigorous field work and coordination with USACE personnel.

The candidate will review quality control documentation, attend safety reviews, and manage daily reports in RMS, ensuring all activities meet contract requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• USACE or federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, and/or industrial construction.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and review as-built drawings.
• Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
• Valid Driver's License.
• US citizenship and ability to pass background/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Inspect on-going construction through on-site visits and review of reports and tests.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedules and plans.
• Review daily QC reports and document deficiencies and corrections.
• Maintain RMS input and quality assurance surveillance per USACE requirements.
• Participate in safety reviews and technical meetings with contractors.
