Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Senior Construction Representative to surveil government construction projects, ensuring compliance with plans, safety, and quality standards. The role involves auditing contractor QA/QC plans, preparing surveillance reports, and coordinating changes with government personnel.

Strong communication and experience with federal programs are essential. The position requires US citizenship, ability to obtain security clearances, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen and able to pass federal background screen and drug test.
• Experience with USACE, DoD, Air Force, or federal programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction quality assurance and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review plans and specs and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Develop inspection requirements in coordination with government personnel.
• Prepare draft change orders and modifications for COR/ACO/KO.
• Review contractor QA/QC plans and safety programs for conformance.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and coordination meetings.
• Submit daily QA reports (QAR) within 24 hours of inspection.
