Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of quality control or quality assurance experience on construction projects.
• US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience in welding, machining, or industrial construction and interpreting plans.

Responsibilities

• Inspect ongoing construction through on-site visits and review contractor reports and test results.
• Independently inspect complex civil construction activities requiring technical expertise.
• Ensure contractor work complies with schedules, plans, specs, safety regulations, and contract documents.
• Review daily QC reports to ensure proper documentation and deficiencies corrected.
• Maintain RMS-based daily quality assurance reports and audit trails.
• Attend QA preparatory and initial inspections and provide input on daily QA reports within 24 hours.
