Job summary

Accura Engineering in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Construction Representative to surveil construction projects and deliver comprehensive reports for compliance with plans and specifications. Responsibilities include reviewing plans, coordinating with government personnel, and ensuring quality control across all phases of construction.

The role requires strong QA/QC knowledge, familiarity with USACE/DoD processes, and the ability to produce detailed daily and project-wide reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 7 years in construction project engineering/management/inspection.
• Experience with USACE/DoD/federal programs preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and safety requirements.
• Ability to review drawings, specs, schedules, submittals, and progress payments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans and specs.
• Review plans and specifications and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Attend meetings with contractors and government personnel; document discussions.
• Prepare and submit daily QA/QC reports (QAR) after inspections.
• Verify site location, layout, and elevations prior to start of work.
• Monitor deficiencies and maintain an audit trail for RFIs.
