Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Senior Construction Representative to oversee surveillance of construction projects and deliver reports on workmanship, materials, and installation for compliance with plans and specifications.

You will review contract plans, provide guidance to government personnel, prepare surveillance reports, and support change orders. Requires 7+ years in construction oversight and familiarity with USACE/DoD environments; relocation/travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED minimum; construction-related degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction project engineering, construction management, or construction inspection.
• Experience supporting USACE, DoD, Air Force, or other federal construction programs preferred.
• Familiarity with permitting, utilities, and local/regional construction methods.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, contract administration, and construction safety requirements.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, project schedules, daily reports, and progress payment requests.
• Ability to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Experience assisting with contract modifications, cost estimates, contractor proposals, and project closeout.
• Familiarity with building systems (fire protection, HVAC, electrical, etc.) and secure government facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting compliance with plans, specs, workmanship, and materials.
• Review plans and specs and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Advise government personnel and coordinate quality assurance programs.
• Assist in change orders and supporting data preparation.
• Develop inspection requirements and control methods with government personnel.
• Prepare draft変更 orders and modifications for COR/ACO/KO.
• Submit deliverables for government review per process; reviews occur by government personnel.
• Review contractor Quality Control and Safety plans for conformance with requirements.
• Attend preconstruction conferences and coordination meetings with contractors and COR.
• Review daily quality control reports to ensure adequate documentation.
• Perform surveillance to ensure compliance with USACE 3-phase quality control; provide daily QA inspections.
• Review ongoing work to verify conformance with contract requirements.
• Attend QA preparatory and initial inspections and submit daily QAR within 24 hours.
• Travel to job sites will be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
