Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks a Project Engineer to provide construction project engineering services for government programs, including project observation, QA, contract administration, and reporting to government personnel. The role supports project delivery by implementing laws, regulations, and policies, and assisting with submittal reviews, cost estimates, and contract modifications.

The candidate will oversee QA activities, analyze design and construction issues, review schedules and payments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ABET-accredited.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction project engineering/management/inspection.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD or federal programs preferred.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, control procedures, contract administration, and safety.
• Ability to obtain/maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction, contract administration, and QA per contract.
• Monitor projects via field surveillance; prepare daily progress reports.
• Review schedules, costs, and progress payments; identify delays.
• Review contractor QA plans, safety plans, and submittals for compliance.
• Attend preconstruction and coordination meetings; prepare minutes.
• Assist with change proposals, cost estimates, and contract modifications.
• Maintain project documentation and as-built reviews.
