Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Representative to supervise and report on construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, and safety standards for government projects. You will prepare surveillance reports, review plans, recommend changes, and coordinate with COR/KO across all project phases.

Minimum seven years in construction project engineering or inspection, with USACE/DoD familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in construction project engineering, management, or inspection.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, schedules and daily reports.
• Familiarity with building systems and safety requirements.
• Ability to obtain access to military installations.
• US citizenship and ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Experience supporting USACE/DoD or federal programs preferred.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance of construction projects and deliver findings.
• Prepare surveillance reports documenting conformance with plans and specs.
• Review plans and specifications and recommend changes to government personnel.
• Provide site surveillance and assist in resolving differences.
• Advise government personnel and discuss conditions affecting quality.
• Assist in evaluating change orders and preparing supporting data.
• Develop inspection requirements and control methods with government staff.
• Prepare draft change orders and modifications for COR/AC0/KO.
• Submit deliverables for government review per established process.
• Review QC/QA plans, safety plans, schedules, and submittal registers for conformance.
• Attend meetings with contractors and COR; keep thorough notes.
• Review daily QC reports to ensure adequate documentation.
• Perform surveillance to ensure adherence to USACE 3-phase QA; report daily QAR.
• Verify site location, layout, and elevations prior to work.
• Monitor contractor procedures for tracking deficiencies and RFIs.
• Travel to and from job sites will be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
